White 白

White

It's the coldest of seasons,
The bite you had,
The purity of our hearts,
Or just the opposite of black.

The color of wholemeal bread,
The clouds above us,
The pigeons in the park,
The rice we consume.

The color of angels,
Full cream milk cholocates,
The doves of peace,
The light we see.

A poem for my dear Gweng, so white so white. Have a white day everyone!

Hmm.. inspiration? Or just a total failure.

For the past 2 weeks, been shuttling thru and fro Boon Lay and Choa Chu Kang. For foreign readers, that's a good 1 1/2 to 2 hours trip to work and home. What am I doing during then to past time? For the start, I slept but gradually I chose to listen to my trusty disc man. Even since I brought my FIR album for around 2 months ago I think, been listening to them countless time. Looking forward to payday and will try to get my hands on TWIN's newest album.. hehe

Heaven's Gift

Woke up 5 o'clock in the morning,
Had this run-down feeling,
Reluctant and proceed to some preparations,
Seeking a new day of inspirations.

Boarded the crowded morning train,
Outside seems going to rain,
The train began to move off,
Simutaneouly the commuters began to doze off.

I took out my trusty disc-man,
And myself as a proud F.I.R. fan,
Enjoying myself by humming their latest songs,
My journey continues to march on.

Eventually I reached my destination,
A lady dressed in black appears just like imagination,
Wondering if there's such thing as Heaven's gift?
Nonethless these occurances gave me a good lift.

Well, these come out from my real life occurances, almost all. Saw this lady on my way out of Choa Chu Kang MRT ;-) Hey! I'm a real man after all, I do look out for pretty faced ladies.

Grinning gleefully!

~Smile

Something which warms our heart,
Whatever, whenever and wherever,
People practice it for a good start,
Since the starting till forever.

Be yourself and do your part,
Don't be shy and it's no error,
Go to a nearby school or even a park,
Project yourself as a keen smile bearer!

Hmm, reading back, I felt I made a good start, one of the best, but towards the end, it's still done too forcefully. Probably my style of poetry makes it very hard for me to end it nicely. Time to find time to travel to Bedok National Library to borrow some books.

It's late already, got to work tomorrow. Take care and smile always!

笑颜の法则

Hi again,

Thanks for your encouragement over the past 4 days, being busy watching a Japanese dorama title 笑颜の法则, english titled Living Today for Tomorrow. Sorry that I can't provide your a synopsis at the moment, I promise to do that once I get the necessary materials.

But in the dorama, it reminded me something which is mentioned so many times, but people eventually forget about it. Sorry for being long winded to remind you guys, here goes. Smiling makes the world goes round, when you smile at someone, one thing will be sure, that someone will return you a smile naturally. Bear in mind, it's not written in a law anywhere in the world for one to do it, since the presence of civilizations people are practicing that on and off.

No need to be shy, smile always!

P.S. Be sure to check back for the synopsis and I will try to get the mp3 of the theme song too! God, the lead actress is going to dethrone my all time favourite Ryoko Hirosue.. must...keep..my...faith....with...her..... *trying*
